Mindfulness Therapist
Mindfulness based therapy provides you with the tools that overtime can lead to a mental state of non-judgmental awareness of the present moment by calmly acknowledging one's feelings, thoughts, and sensations as they arise and learning how to detach from being the feeling, thought or sensations.
As a mindfulness therapist, I will provide you with a guide to recognise which of your current ways and habitual thought patterns get you stuck or spiraling into thoughts and instead I teach you how to change your attachment to those thought patterns, encouraging curiosity, openness and acceptance within you.
I incorporate this highly effective practice within both individual therapy and group workshops as it is proven to have huge transformational effects on peoples lives. If you’re interested in working with a mindfulness therapist to help you navigate life, contact me to get started.
A Grandfather was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them:
“A fight is going on inside me. It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves
One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.
This same fight is going on inside you and inside every other person too”. They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked “which wolf will win?” The grandfather simply replied “the one you feed”
